What does the audit include?

A review framework spanning 13 areas, including search, AI readiness, accessibility, speed, security, content, local information, and the path to getting in touch. See all 13 areas. Individual results depend on the site, applicable checks, and the information available.

How many pages does the audit review?

Up to 500 pages per audit. A larger site is reviewed up to that limit, not all the way through.

Are all 260 items automated tests?

No. The total describes the review framework. It includes automated measurements, conditional and informational checks, and items requiring human review. An area appearing in the framework does not mean every measurement can be completed on every site.

Does it work for my kind of business?

It works for any kind of business with a website. Checks that only make sense for certain businesses are left out when they don't apply to you.

Does the ADA apply to my business website?

The U.S. Justice Department says businesses open to the public must make what they offer online accessible, and it has no regulation setting a technical standard for them. It names WCAG as helpful guidance. Its 2024 rule requires WCAG 2.1 AA of state and local government websites. Ask a lawyer about your own situation. Read the department's guidance.

Does the audit make my website ADA compliant?

The audit helps identify potential accessibility barriers and organize remediation. It does not make changes to your site or certify legal compliance. Human evaluation is needed for issues that automation cannot fully assess. See the accessibility checks.

Will I know what to fix?

Findings include explanations and recommended next steps. Some changes are straightforward; others may need your developer, hosting provider, accessibility specialist, or another member of your team. See how findings read in a sample report.

Can it check whether AI tools mention my business?

When available, the audit can sample API-based responses from ChatGPT and Perplexity for relevant local searches. These are observations at scan time, not a promise that every person will receive the same answer. The feature depends on configured services and usable business and location information.

How does it compare with other audit tools?

We publish a side-by-side of what each company says it covers, with sources. See the comparison.

Does it fix my website for me?

The audit identifies findings and provides recommendations. Your website team carries out the changes. Some findings also call for further testing or specialist review.
